The Detroit Regional Chamber provides and maintains a total compensation program that pays employees in relation to the value of their jobs and recognizes individual differences in performance. Annual Performance ReviewThe Chamber maintains a “pay for performance” compensation philosophy. The overall result of the annual performance review has direct bearing on each employee’s base pay merit increase percentage. It also provides important information to be used for promotion decisions. Incentive/Bonus Compensation PlanThe Incentive/Bonus Compensation Plan has been designed to provide an incentive award opportunity for all employees. It also enables employees to become involved in the overall results of the organization, and allows the Chamber to share the rewards with employees, thereby creating a culture of success. The plan assists the organization in addressing the following objectives:
