The Spirit Team is a staff group that comes together once a month, in order to build and support the Chamber's reputation as the "best place to work." The role of the Spirit Team is to organize staff functions, events and activities. The group also develops ideas, creating and fostering a positive, safe, happy and healthy work environment.

The Spirit Team plays a key role at the Detroit Regional Chamber by providing input on how our organization can:

• Boost employee morale within the organization.
• Reduce employee turnover.
• Generate interest for staff programs.
• Foster a positive, happy work environment, including satisfied employees.
• Assist in developing positive employee behaviors in order for employees to become effective, productive and efficient team members. This will produce quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
